NEW YORK FASHION WEEK – TRENDS FOR SPRING 2013

Hey Fashion Queens! I know that the New York Fashion Week ends tomorrow but I just couldn’t wait any longer with sharing my favorite collections’ looks with you! So today I’ve prepared for you a quick review about trends and looks which will be super popular in Spring 2013.

So let’s start with the gorgeously frothy gowns from Badgley Mischka’s collection.

And here you have girls some stunning, super feminine dresses from Carolina Herrera Spring 2013 collection.

So, as usual, the designers surprised us with their ideas for upcoming season! How did they do it this time? They have showed clothes that looked totally wearable! That’s unusual, right? But for us it means an amazing opportunity to be even more fashionable this Spring! So you will not find in collections completely outrageous and edgy looks this time. In general they tended to stay more feminine, softly-hued and sheer. But it doesn’t mean, that designers like Philip Lim, haven’t surprised us with a super cool collection full of edgy slogan-print tees and grunge looks.

Do you want some fashion hints in a nutshell? Spring season 2013 will be all about transparency: sheer and semi-sheer fabrics, all shades of white and shapes which are highlighting the feminine silhouettes. It seems we’re having a romantic Spring ahead us! Oh…I would totally forget! Bras are going to be a super hot finishing for upcoming Spring!

THE NEW YORK FASHION WEEK- STREET STYLE!!!

Hey Ladies! Today it’s the 6th day of the New York Fashion Week and I’m so excited to show you some more amazing clothes and accessories I fall in love with! I put a main focus on accessories which are just fantastic and they are playing a key role in finishing every look! So let’s follow me and have a look at all those NYFW fashion treasures!

This Fashion Week seems to be under the control of the clutches! Neon colors, comics prints, and animal patterns – everything is allowed! So let’s be playful and finish the look with some stunning piece!

Some other fashion hints for you, Ladies? NY Fashion Week seems to be crazy about prints in general, whenever it’s a jacket, skirt or pants. If you want to be a real fashionista, you also need to get some high-top sneakers wedges, which are the top pick of many celebs, models and designers! The key to success? Be playful, because that’s what the fashion is all about!

THE NEW YORK FASHION WEEK STARTS TODAY!

Hello Fashion Queens! As you probably already know the biggest fashion event in the world starts today in the fashion heart of the Big Apple! From now on till September 13th, the New York Fashion Week goes to the next round: around Lincoln Center, labels such as Victoria Beckham, The Row, Alexander Wang, Rodarte, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren and many, many more will present their collections for Spring/Summer 2013. Are you excited, Ladies?

So let’s have a look at the calendar of the shows and events (click on the picture to enlarge)!

What is missing there – but for sure not in our minds – is the Vogue Fashion Night Out, which starts at 6:00 pm! So Ladies, this is something you simply can’t miss! Do you need some inspiration on what to wear during the most fashionable weekend in the Big Apple? Let’s steal some models’ looks!

Option 1: dark skinny jeans, knitwear, oversize cardigans, long coats, and of course…super comfortable shoes! It seems pretty normal and simple, but believe me, they know what is hot right now!

Option 2: spotted leopard fur, printed pants in strong colors and asymmetrical tops. Wearing this combo, you can be sure, you will not remain unnoticed on this big event!

The Cupcakes of NYC!

Hey Girls, I woke up today totally craving cupcakes! So I decided to do a cupcake tour of the city! I know, not the healthiest of days but they’re totally cute, oh-so yummy and simply irresistible! So today I just don’t care!

Let me tell you about my three favorite!

First of all Crumbs! Ok, so I didn’t have to venture very far to find this trusty cupcake bakery there is like one on nearly every corner. But my cupcake craving was so strong I just had to have one fast!

Crumbs cupcakes are so yummy I had to stop myself from ordering one of the giant ones! Instead I got a totally indulgent Cotton Candy cupcake! It’s a Vanilla cake with cotton candy flavored cream cheese and rolled in cotton candy crunch. OMG from then on I knew this day ways going to be heaven!

So… where to next? The craving for cupcakes was still strong so I followed the sweet smell of yummy goodness all the way to my next stop… Magnolia bakery.

The promise of preservative and additive free cupcakes made me feel a little less guilty before preparing to devour my second cupcake of the morning. This time it had to be a red velvet cupcake made red with cocoa, a little vanilla and a lot of secret yummy stuff. It had its own special whipped vanilla icing, it was moist, fluffy and just totally delicious. I must say I was a little sad when it was all gone!

So I allowed myself another but this time from Sugar Sweet Sunshine! So as it was my third cupcake of the morning I thought I’d try and get in one of my 5 a day by choosing a Pumpkin cake with cream cheese icing and OMG! I never knew vegetables could taste so good! Now I was totally cupcake satisfied!
