Anyway, in NYC another trend is rising up like the Spring’s warmest sun: pastel colors!

This season, the fashion world has gotten in touch with its softer side: it is time to say bye bye to the bold color blocks and retina searing neon hues that have been all the rage for the past few seasons. Pastel colors are now being paraded out by sartorial taste makers around the world. But unlike the in the past when the style was to pair pastels with a sugar sweet girly silhouette, this time it has got to have a much more modern edge.
To look chic and sophisticated wearing such feminine shades they need to stand alone. But if you really want to take the look further, why not try wearing a more unexpected pastel shade? A lavender top, a teal skirt or a salmon orange belt would tweak the style just enough to make you look like a trend setter simply waiting for the world to catch up to your cutting edge approach.
